S3 Supergirl Jam Airs on Versus on October 25th
LOS ANGELES (October 17, 2008) - ASA Entertainment's S3 Supergirl Jam, the all-female action sports competition and music festival, will be broadcast on VERSUS on Sunday, October 26th at 4:00 p.m. Repeats of the show will also air on Monday, October 21 at 2:00 a.m. and on Wednesday, October 22nd at 4:00 p.m.
Designed to promote and celebrate female strength, independence and empowerment by creating a platform for today's female athletes to compete in multiple action sports disciplines, the 2nd Annual S3 Supergirl Jam is the only large-scale, all-girls action sports competition in the world. The event features 100 of the top female athletes in surfing, skateboarding, inline skating and snowboarding competing at the same venue, including a massive snowboarding ramp with 30,000 pounds of real snow on the beach in Huntington Beach, CA. Some of the top pros competing include Lauren Perkins (Huntington Beach, Calif.), Lyn-Z Adams-Hawkins (San Diego, Calif.), Vanessa Torres (Anaheim, Calif.), Coco Ho (Oahu, Hawaii), Chanelle Sladics (Newport Beach, Calif.), and Fabiola da Silva (Sao Paulo, Brazil).
